SEEKING FOR ASSISTANCE ON HOW TO RECOVER MY FORGOTTEN TIN NUMBER, I REGISTERED TIN number Under E.O 98. Few years ago

Thank you for your request dated Apr 04, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for FORGOTTEN TIN NUMBER under E.O. 98.

Response to your request
We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied.

In this regard, to personally verify your TIN, we highly advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02)85383200, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays. Furthermore, you may also try using the BIR Mobile TIN Verifier App by downloading this link: (https://play.google.com/store/apps./details?id=com.bir.birrr6manila&&hl=en&gl=US) or thru the App Store for IOS users.
We would also like to suggest that if you know where you filed your 2316 and 1905, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.
