Good day! 
 I would like to request for my latest income tax return. The purpose of this is to complete my daughter's requirement for her scholarship application.

Thank you for your request dated Mar 14, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for LATEST INCOME TAX RETURN.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your ITR for CY 2021 is yet to be filed to be filed on or before April 15 this year.

If you already filed, then you should have a copy of the same. However, you may directly request BIR Form 2316 for this year from your employer as they are the main source of this document and it is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

On your application for scholarship purposes, we would like to advise you to visit the BIR website at www.bir.gov.ph to read the documentary requirements needed for the Processing of Application for Certificate of Exemption for Scholarship and Job/Livelihood Programs.
