May I request for a copy of my ITR for the year 2020- 2021. 

My name is Ester Roman Barbo.  My previous company is ATOS Information Technology Inc. 
Address: 4th Floor Science Hub Tower 1 Mckinley Taguig

I need this for  employment purposes

Dear Ms. Barbo:

I refer to my letter of Oct 03, 2023 12:00:30 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request of copy of ITR (BIR Form 2316) for the year 2020 and 2021.

In reply, BIR Form No. 2316 is a form issued by your employer (A Certificate). Hence, you may request for the issuance and/or re-issuance of the said documents to the issuing company. You must be issued of the copy of the said form on or before January 31 of the succeeding year.

With the employer's obligation to give you the original copy of the form, it is therefore your right to request said copy from your employer for the year 2020 to 2021. 

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is registered would take longer to provide you the information you have requested. They have to verify if your employer has submitted to them the List of Employees Qualified under substituted Filing of Income Tax Return (Annex F). Furthermore, the date of filing should also be given for the RDO to be able to verify at the fastest possible time.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec 26, 2023 06:37:08 AM, your request will be closed.
