February 27, 2023 Dear Mr. Gocho: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Feb 24, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for TIn Number Verification. Response to your request After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the following reasons: The request falls outside the scope of the FOI program (i.e. the request is a front-line/government service of the agency, etc.); and TIN and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of Sensitive Personal Information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012, as such, it is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website. TIN Inquiry and/or Validation are now available through Chatbot-Revie which can be accessed thru the BIR Website (www.bir.gov.ph). Thank you.
