Dear Ms. Salvador,

I refer to my letter of Sept. 27, 2021, 05:47:15 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

Kindly clarify from your new employer if what they are asking from you is the past years as maybe what they were asking from you is for the current year for them to do the year-end adjustment. Your new employer will take into consideration your income from previous employment and your tax liability will be based on your total income for the year.

Furthermore, please be informed that your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your previous employer, If there is any, as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec. 21, 2021, 09:32:54 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.

Hi Ms. Ana!

Thank you for your response. My new employer is requesting for the past years.

I haven't received yet my ITR/BIR Form 2316 from my last employment. I have sent them my request already but in order to submit my document requirements to my new employer before their due date, I went directly here to request the ITR myself.

Below are my last two employment details that may help with the request:

Date employed: July 2019-August2020
Company: Core Enabler Business Process Solutions Inc.
Position: Associate Project Manager

Date employed: August 2020-August 2021
Company: Keridelivery Inc.
Position: Project Manager

Is it possible to know estimated date when I can receive the BIR form? I appreciate your help. Thank you!
