I would like to request form 2316 for me to complete my tax filing here in Canada. I am employed at Result Manila Inc. Lipa branch from October 26, 2020 to May 21, 2021. Dear Jeremie Micah Bautista:

I refer to my letter of Jul 14, 2022 04:30:21 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR form 2316.

The Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld For Compensation Payment With or Without Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) SHOULD BE ISSUED by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee if employment is terminated before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.  

In this instance, kindly provide us the Name of your Employer for the period 2020-2021, Employer Business Address and Employer's Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) for us to endorse your concern to the Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer is registered and where they submits BIR reports/returns. Email the needed information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-778231943865, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 06, 2022 06:53:59 AM, your request will be closed.
