Dear Ms. Gatdula:

I refer to my letter of Mar 28, 2023 04:40:19 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for The Amount of Tax Paid by the DND.

We called your mobile number today, April 3, to apprised you that you need to submit your letter of intent (kindly specify the purpose of your request for information), Indorsement Letter from your Teacher/Professor and Two (2) Valid  I.D.s (1 School I.D and 1 Government Issued I.D).

Please be informed also that the BIR Miscellaneous Operations Monitoring Division (MOMD) only have the Data for the Year/s 2018 to June 2022. Prior Years were already unavailable.

Should you wish to proceed with your request, kindly email sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and vanessa.badeo@bir.gov.ph (on item specified under paragraph #2). Also indicate in the email subject ticket number #BIR-781627085711, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jun 26, 2023 02:23:39 AM, your request will be closed.

Response to your request

Please be informed, upon receipt of the answer reply from the Miscellaneous Operations Monitoring Division (MOMD) on your request for information on the data amount of withholding tax remittances of the Department of National Defense, Philippine Army, Philippine Navy and Philippine Air Force.

The said request cannot be provided by the concerned office pursuant to Section 270 of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC), as amended.
