I would like to ask if I'm allowed to represent my father in getting the certificate of exemption from filing of income tax return. If so, what are the requirements I need to bring?

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jun 05, 2022 10:59:00 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Certificate of Exemption from Filing of Income Tax Return.

We called your contact information today (June 6, 2022) 09152100873 at 10:40 am but to no avail. We would like to inform that you will need to secure a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) to process this transaction in behalf of your father and bring Two (2) Valid government Identification cards for the both of you. You will need to  accomplish an Affidavit of Non-Filing of Income Tax Return with your Barangay and submit to the Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdiction over the place of your residence, for you to be able to secure a Certificate of Exemption from Filing of Income Tax  Return.
