May 12, 2022 Dear Mr. Kim Isle: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 12, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for a Certified True Copy of your BIR Form 2316 from 2020-2021. In response to your request, we were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as this is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied. In this regard, we would like to advise you to visit the BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) where your employer for taxable year 2020 and 2021 are presently registered, or through your authorized representative and file your request for a certified true copy of your ITR or BIR Form 2316. Please bring along the original copy and a photocopy and pay the corresponding certification fee of P100.00 plus a documentary stamp for P30.00 as this will be attached to the certified true copy.
