October 21, 2021 Dear Mr. Jimenez, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 20, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for BIR Form 2316. In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us with the following details and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. : - please indicate your employer’s TIN, RDO , business name & address - Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) Furthermore, please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. If you have been employed for this year, the BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
