Julongbayan 10:07 PM, Apr 22, 2022

Hi! I would like to request a copy of my latest Income tax return for my car loan application.

April 22, 2022

Dear Mr. Leo Julongbayan:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 22, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Income Tax Return.

In response to your request, we resolve to deny your request since the latest Income Tax Return (ITR) you are referring to if you are an employee or employed is your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2021 that was supposedly issued/given by your employer as they are the main source of the document.
However, if you are a self-employed individual (practicing ones profession or have a business) your supposedly ITR could be BIR Form 1701 or 1701A which was supposedly filed last April 18, 2022 and you should have a copy of the said form/s.

Thank you.

Respectfully,
Sherry Ann Cuyos
FOI Officer
