Dear Ms. Irish Cortez:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 22, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Copy of Income tax return.

Response to your request, we resolve to deny your request for the following:
1. If you are employed/employee- the Income Tax Return (ITR) is your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2021 that was supposedly issued/given by your employer as they are the main source of the document and must release to you as a matter of right;
2.If you are a self-employed individual (practicing ones profession or have a business) your supposedly ITR could be BIR Form 1701 or 1701A which was supposedly filed last April 18, 2022 and you should have a copy of the said form/s;
3. For filing of ITR for Calendar Year 2022 should have been next year.
