Hi! I would like to request a statistics on the total number of registered taxpayers of BIR RDO 060 and its registered estate taxpayers from 2015-2022

Dear Ms. Porte:

I refer to my letter of Dec 30, 2023 12:32:02 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Total number of Registered taxpayers.

In reply, please be informed of the following:

A. Pursuant to Section 21.2 and 21.3 (d) of Chapter VII-Standard Procedure for efOI Request:

Section 21.2 - the purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as for information, research or legal purposes or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity.

Failure to specify the reasons for or purpose of the request for information shall be a ground for denial of the eFOI Request.

Section 21.3 (d) - If the requesting party is a natural person who is a member employee, affiliated with or related to a juridical entity, company or organization and the request is made not in behalf of such juridical entity, company or organization but arises from such membership, affiliation or relation, such other sufficient proof of authority or affiliation.

In this regard, you have to attach scanned copies of the valid school I.D. and written indorsement of the supervising teacher/professor/instructor.

B. Total Number of Registered Taxpayers of Revenue District Office (RDO) No. 60-Lucena City - the requested information is restricted by rules under Sec. 270 of the NIRC, as amended, and is also under the exceptions list of the district office.

C. Registered Estate Taxpayers from 2015 to 2022 - Data/information on revenue collections, estate tax and Estate Tax Amnesty will be forwarded in your  email account.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 26, 2024 12:43:19 AM, your request will be closed.
