Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 24, 2023 09:15:03 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Documentary Requirements - Applying of Income Tax Exemption of a BMBE.

Response to your request

In reply, you may apply for a Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Certificate at the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), you may visit their website at https://bmbe.dti.gov.ph.

On the other hand, if you already have a Certificate of Registration (COR) issued by the BIR Revenue District Office (RDO), you have to submit BIR Form No. 1905 and update your registration to BMBE status. The documentary requirements are valid government issued Identification Cards (I.Ds) and BMBE Certificate. Special Power of Attorney (SPA) if transacting through a representative.
