Dear Mr. Gomboc,

I refer to my letter of Mar 23, 2022 01:29:27 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for 2316 Certificate of Compensation Payment.

In order for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned office, we need more information from you regarding your request for 2316. Kindly email us your employer/employer's TIN, name & business address, and RDO of your employer for CY 2019-2020 and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information.

For the year 2021, it is advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jun 15, 2022 05:16:59 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Ana Marie Du
FOI Officer
