Dear Ms. Alonzo,

I refer to my letter of Jan 27, 2022 09:25:45 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

I refer to my letter of Jan 27, 2022 08:32:17 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for My Income Tax Return.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us with the following details for your 2020 ITR and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these  contain sensitive information
-What ITR form did you file? 
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. 

However, we would also like to suggest that if you know where you filed your ITR, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Apr 21, 2022 10:15:13 PM, your request will be closed.
