I would like to request for a copy of my annual ITR for the year 2016-2019.

I worked from July 2016- December 2019 at the hospital and my ITR request from the administration has not been accommodated.

Dear Ms. Jungco,

I refer to my letter of Mar 22, 2022 11:03:30 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Annual Income Tax Return Copy.

Kindly clarify if what you are requesting is BIR Form 2316 or ITR as we have different policies, manner and venue of filing on these two documents.
If you are an employee and requesting for BIR Form 2316, kindly provide us the TIN, RDO and complete name and address of your employer for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO having jurisdiction over your employer’s address.

Furthermore, please be informed that if you have been employed, and your withholding tax has been correctly withheld by your employer, provided that you have only one employer and has been qualified for substituted filing for the taxable year - the Certificate of Withholding (BIR Form 2316) filed by your employer, duly stamped "Received" by the Bureau, shall be tantamount to the filing of the income tax return.

We would also like to suggest that you may directly request BIR Form 2316  from your employer as they are the main source of this document and it is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jun 14, 2022 04:48:53 AM, your request will be closed.
