Good day!

I'm writing this letter to express my desire to obtain a copy of my ITR for the purpose of getting a visa for my upcoming vacation and prove my willingness to preserve my social and economic ties to the Philippines.

Dear Ms. Brul:

I refer to my letter of Apr 06, 2023 10:39:30 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return (ITR) and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

In order to identify or locate the requested information, we are seeking for further clarification specifically:

1. Did you have a Registered Business between the period of 2015 to 2023? Or were you an Individual Earning on Purely Compensation Income from the period 2015 to 2023?

2.  If Employed, kindly provide the Complete Name of your Employer/s, Employer’s TIN and Employer’s Registered Address for the period 2015 to 2023?

3. Withstanding your answer to the first and second query, did you file an ITR for the cited period?

If you are an Employee for the period 2015 to 2023, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for the aforesaid Years pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).

Kindly email the requested information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and vanessa.badeo@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the email subject tracking number #BIR-873554807858, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jul 05, 2023 12:47:31 AM, your request will be closed.
