Hi BIR good day! I would like to request a copy of my BIR Form No. 2316 with my previous employer Petron Corporation on the past 5 years (2018 - 2022)

My Tax ID Number : 716-992-890.

I currently have no more connection with my past employer. I need the aforementioned documents as a Job requirement. Hoping for your usual support. Thank you!

Dear Mr. Jimenez:

I refer to my letter of Jul 11, 2023 04:03:31 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316 request.

In reply, please be informed that your request for a copies of your Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316 can be obtained through your EMPLOYER as they are obligated to furnish every employee a copy of the aforesaid form as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as an Annual Income Tax Return (AITR) of the employee according to Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended

The employer shall prepare BIR Form No. 2316 in triplicate, which shall be distributed as follows:

(1)	Original – Employee’s copy;
(2)	Duplicate – BIR’s copy; and
(3)	Triplicate- Employer’s copy which shall be retained for a period of ten (10) years.”

Please coordinate with your employers and ask for the copy of your BIR Form 2316 from the Calendar Years 2018 to 2022 if you have not receive a copy.

What the Revenue District Office (RDO) has in their records are copies of BIR Form No. 2316 from CY 2020 to 2022.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 04, 2023 08:04:57 AM, your request will be closed.

To whom it may concern,

Good day, for info, I already requested the duplicate BIR form 2316 copies from my previous employer, Petron. Despite repeated follow-ups, latest last July 24, I did not receive any feedback from them. 

With this, I am respectfully requesting from your office copies of my BIR form 2316 for the years 2018 to present. The documents are urgently needed for my visa application and I would really appreciate to receive the copies at the earliest possible time.
