I Would like to request the following documents as requirements for Purchase of Acquired Assets:

1. TIN VERIFICATION SLIP 
2.  LATEST INCOME TAX RETURN

Dear Ms. Juanitas,

I refer to my letter of Dec 14, 2021 01:36:51 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for TIN VERIFICATION SLIP and  LATEST INCOME TAX RETURN.

In order for us to properly endorse and work on your request, kindly provide us the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information:
- What form did you file? 
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online)

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. 

If the documents have been filed to our office, may we suggest that you request these directly to the concerned RDO and bring two valid IDs for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.  

Moreover, your ITR for 2021 is yet to be filed on or before April 15 next year, hence we cannot provide you copy of the same.

On the other hand, for verification of your TIN, we highly advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02)85383200, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays. Furthermore, you may also try using the BIR Mobile TIN Verifier App by downloading this link: (https://play.google.com/store/apps./details?id=com.bir.birrr6manila&&hl=en&gl=US) or thru the App Store for IOS users.

You may also visit the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) to personally verify your TIN. Please bring any of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity.

Please be reminded that TIN is confidential information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 08, 2022 07:49:43 AM, your request will be closed.
