Hi! i would like to request for a copy of my BIR 2316. This will be used for Visa Application Purposes.

Dear Ms.Sauler,

I refer to my letter of Nov 26, 2021 06:38:14 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, kindly clarify what exactly are you requesting, is it ITR or BIR Form 2316? 

If BIR Form 2316, kindly provide us your employer’s TIN, RDO no., business name & address, and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information.

Further, you may directly request this from your employer as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 18, 2022 10:49:58 AM, your request will be closed.
