We are conducting a research study entitled "The Impact of Electronic Filing Implementation on the Compliance Behavior of Taxpayers in Davao City," and we would like to request information regarding:

1) the number of mixed income earners in Davao City; and,

2) the number of SMEs in Davao City

In response to your request:

In reply, pursuant to BIR Revised FOI Manual, the request should be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research purpose" or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to  have met the requirements of specificity. Also a similar request was received from you last April 22, 2022 and it was endorsed with our Revenue Region No. 19-Davao City for appropriate action. We highly encourage you to coordinate with our office in Davao City at BIR Regional Office Building Bolten Extension Davao City.
