I am a fourth year Industrial Engineering student from Southern Luzon State University–Lucban Campus, conducting feasibility study entitled A FEASIBILITY STUDY OF GRASS BASED PAPER BAG PRODUCTION IN TIAONG QUEZON

With this, I would like to request your help in providing necessary data for my study regarding: 
•	The total number of department stores, specialty stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, e-commerce stores, drugstores, and public markets in the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (CALABARZON).

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Mar 04, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for The total number of stores in CALABARZON..

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that the BIR has classified its jurisdiction into regional groupings, such as the following:
Revenue Region No. 9A – CABAMIRO (Cavite- Batangas -Mindoro - Romblon)
Revenue Region No. 9B -  LAQUEMAR (Laguna - Quezon - Marinduque).

However, we do not have the CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) grouping as our area of jurisdiction.

Furthermore, we cannot determine the total number of business registrants pertaining to department stores, specialty stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, e-commerce stores, drugstores and public markets as our classification is on a per industry basis as shown in the Philippine Standard Industrial Classification Code (PSIC) in the bir website at www.bir.gov.ph homepage / quick links / industrial / occupational code links.
