Good day! I would like to request copies of my BIR Form 1701 submitted around 2016-2018 as a job order personnel in Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Cordillera Administratove Region. I was not advised and I was not aware that I have to close my BIR registration after resignation. I am currently working in another government institution but unfortunately I cannot proceed with my annual registration due to the existing file in my previous RDO. I am applying for transfer, thus I need to close the registration which requires copies of the BIR form 1701. Thank you very much.

Dear Ms.Kindipan,
I refer to my letter of Nov 24, 2021 06:26:02 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 1701.
In order for us to work further on your request, kindly provide us the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information:
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online)
Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.
However, we would also like to suggest that you may directly request it to your RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 16, 2022 04:57:43 AM, your request will be closed.
We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Ana Marie Du

Good day! I would like to cancel this request as I have verified from my previous employer that I was not advised to file my ITR three years ago. As they have assisted me in finding my ITR, I have assumed that I filed the said document so I resorted to this for a faster transaction. With this, the BIR will not be able to provide this document. I apologize for the inconvenience this request caused.
