Good day!
I would like to request my ITR (Income Tax Returns) for the time period July 2019-April 2020. I would like to check if my employer before has filed these as stated.

Dear Ms. Echavez,

I refer to my letter of Oct 22, 2021 06:30:39 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

If you are requesting for your ITR, kindly provide us the following details for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph as these are sensitive information:
-	What ITR did you file from 2018-2020? Was it 1700 or 1701? 
-	Where did you file your ITR, 
-	Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 
Furthermore, the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. Also, your employer is not responsible in filing your ITR but if you have been qualified for substituted filing, the Certificate of Withholding filed by your employer, duly stamped "Received" by the Bureau, shall be tantamount to the filing of the income tax return. You may request Form 2316 or a certified true copy of the 1604CF from your employer. It is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 17, 2022 02:59:40 AM, your request will be closed.
