Dear Ms. Maaño:

I refer to my letter of Nov 02, 2023 04:28:37 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Latest Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

In reply, kindly clarify if you have a registered business for the period of 2022? or were you an employee for the period of 2022?

If you are referring to your BIR Form No. 2316, your request for a copy of your Income Tax Return/BIR Form No. 2316 for the Calendar Years 2022 can be obtained through your employer as they are obligated to furnish every employee a copy thereof as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as your Annual Income Tax Return per Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 26, 2024 01:11:36 AM, your request will be closed.
