Hello. I am writing to kindly request a copy of my ITR 1700 for the past two years. I am in the process of applying for a loan and the bank requires this document.

Dear Ms. Sabado:

I refer to my letter of Jun 15, 2023 01:35:12 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for ITR 1700.

In order for us and the BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Please be informed that BIR Form 1700 is the Income Tax Return being File by a Local Employee who do not qualify under the Substituted Filing (the Certificate of tax Withheld – BIR Form 2316 issued by the employer serves as the 1700 or Income tax return of the employee).

In particular, it would be helpful to know the following details:
1)	What is the Complete name indicated in the Income Tax Return you filed?
2)	What is your Tax Identification Number as indicated in your filed return?
3)	What Revenue District Office No. did you file your form 1700?
4)	Did you file online or over the counter?

Please be informed further that the RDO Office does not have copies of the “No Payment” returns filed either through eBIRForms or eFPS.

Email the requested information at vanessa.badeo@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-932857927149, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Sep 07, 2023 08:38:24 AM, your request will be closed.

We called your mobile number today, September 18 and informed you that your request for a copy of your BIR Form No. 2316 for CY 2021 to 2022 can be obtained from your employer as they are obligated to furnish every employee's a copy thereof as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as your Annual Income Tax Return per Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.
