Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 11, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for I want to know if the tin number is legit.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, however, in this instance your request has been denied because our office is restricted by rules under Sec. 270 of the NIRC of 1997, as amended and Data Privacy Act of 2012. 

Kindly advise Mr. Banico to secure a TIN Verification Slip at the nearest Revenue District Office (RDO). 

Please bring two (2) valid government-issued I.D.s containing the photograph and signature as proof of your identity for validation purpose. Addresses and contact numbers of RDOs can be found in the BIR Website at www.bir.gov.ph homepage/contact us/directory/revenue district offices links. 

If the request is made through representative, a Special Power of Attorney of the requesting party (principal) and at least two (2) valid government IDs containing the photograph and signature of the representative and the principal shall be presented.
