I refer to my letter of Sep 12, 2022 10:02:51 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for a copy of Income Tax Return (ITR).
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. You have indicated in your request that you require a copy of your Income Tax Return (ITR) for Taxable Period ___________. For verification and clarification, kindly provide additional information on the following:
1. Did you have a registered business between the period January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013? Or were you an individual earning on purely compensation income from the period January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013?
2. If employed, kindly provide the name of your employer/s and registered address of your Employer for the period January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2013?
3. Withstanding your answer to the first and second query, did you file an ITR for the cited period?

As an added note, if you are requesting for a copies of BIR Form 2316 as a Substitute Income Tax Return for Taxable Year/s 2012 and 2013, Please be informed that per record/files of the Revenue District Office/s for the aforementioned years 2012 and 2013 were already sent to archive for storage as it was more than five (5) years of safekeeping per Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 73-2008, Retention Period of Withholding Tax Certificates. It will be practical and appropriate for you to refer to your EMPLOYER/s and ask for the said copies where it actually originated.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec 06, 2022 12:51:17 AM, your request will be closed.
