Dear Mr. Manuel,

I refer to my letter of July 28, 2021, 02:46:41 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us the following details:
-	What ITR did you file for 2020? Was it 1700 or 1701? 
-	May we know where you filed your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-	Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 
Furthermore, please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. Iif you have been employed your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made. 

Also, your ITR for 2021 has yet to be a file on or before April 15 next year, hence we can not provide you the same.

Considering that you are requesting your ITR for scholarship purposes, please be guided  on the Processing of Application for Certificate of Exemption for Scholarship and Job/Livelihood Programs here:

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct. 20, 2021, 11:02:56 AM, your request will be closed.
