Dear Ms. Jaula:

I refer to my letter of Jan 18, 2024 08:53:11 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

After careful consideration, copies of Income Tax Return (ITR) can be requested from the Revenue District Office (RDO) where the same was filed and/or submitted or to the RDO where your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is registered. You just have to submit a Signed Letter Request for the purpose.

However, if you are referring to BIR Form No. 2316, the same shall have to be requested from your EMPLOYER since the same is the One Mandated by Law to Prepare and Provide to the Concerned Employee/s pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008.

For other concern/assistance, email sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the email subject Reference Number #BIR-954573627082, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Apr 12, 2024 04:29:14 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.

Thank you.

Respectfully,

FOI Officer
Public Information and Education Division
