I am requesting a transcript of my Taxes from 01/01/2021 - 03/31/2022 because it's a requirement for me to pass the background checking for the company that I am applying for. I am required to hand in any tax documents that shows the details of my employment history on or before April 8th, 2022.

Thank you for your request dated Apr 02, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for a TRANSCRIPT OF the TAX RETURN.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your ITR for CY 2021 is yet to be filed on or before April 15 this year.

However, if you already filed, then you should have a copy of the same. In case you have not filed it yet and if you have been employed and your withholding tax has been correctly withheld by your employer, provided that you have only one employer and have been qualified for substituted filing for the taxable year - the Certificate of Withholding (BIR Form 2316) filed by your employer, duly stamped "Received" by the Bureau, shall be tantamount to the filing of the income tax return.

Furthermore, you may directly request BIR Form 2316 for this year from your employer as they are the main source of this document and it is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

I have noticed that you were not able to comply with the basic requirements for your eFOI request to be processed. Please attach your two valid IDs and provide your contact details/information for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned office.
