Hi! I would like to request a BIR 2316 form. My previous employer wasn't able to provide me my needed document. I already requested a year ago from my previous employer, and until now they cannot provide me even after a lot of follow up request.

We have a deadline until April 15, 2022 to provide my 2316 form to my current employer.

I hope you can help me with my concern. Thank you!

In order for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned office, we need more information from you regarding your request for 2316. Kindly email us your employer/employer's TIN, name & business address, and RDO for CY 2020-2021and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information.

You asked for BIR 2316.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the requested documents BIR Form 2316 . However, you may wish to contact RDO No. 54B-Kawit, West Cavite or RDO No. 54A-Trece Martirez City who have the jurisdiction over your employer.

   Moreover, please be informed that a certification will be issued to you certifying that we do not have in file the copy of the said requested documents. You may visit our office to pick-up the hard copy of the said Certification.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to rdo_55@bir.gov.ph.
