Hi I would like to request for my latest BIR form 2316 for Year 2020. I'll be needing it as my pre employment requirement for my new job.

Dear Ms. Sumera,

I refer to my letter of Aug 26, 2021 08:35:38 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316 for Year 2020.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us your employer's TIN, business name & address and also your TIN  & email it @ ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph

Kindly clarify from your new employer if what they are asking from you is the past year as maybe it is for the current year for them to do the year-end adjustment. Your new employer will take into consideration your income from previous employment and your tax liability will be based on your total income for the year.

Furthermore, please be informed that your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your previous employer, If there is any, as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Nov 19, 2021 08:19:25 AM, your request will be closed.
