I would like to request my Income Tax Return details for my credit card requirements.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 12, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

Response to your request

In reply, we hereby deny your request for the reason that the Identification (I.D) that was attached in the request is not readable/blurred.

As an added note/reference, if you are an Employee for the period 2023, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for the aforementioned year pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).
