April 7, 2022 Dear Ms. Delos Santos, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Apr 07, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Tax Clearance. Response to your request We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied. Also, I have noticed that you were not able to comply with the basic requirements for your eFOI request to be processed. Please attach scanned copies of at least two (2) valid government I.Ds containing your birthdate, photograph and signature. For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph. On the other hand, you may just visit the BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) 50, to personally follow up your tax clearance. Please bring any of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity.
