Hi! I would like to request for a copy of my 2316 for the period January 01, 2021 to September 03, 2021. This for me to comply with the requirements for employment in a new company I am currently working at. Unfortunately, the hard copy given to me by my previous employer was lost. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 28, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for BIR Form 2316.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your BIR Form 2316 for 2021 is yet to be filed on April 15 next year. 
Thus, we would like to advise that you may directly request from your employer a copy of your 2316 as they are the main source of such documents. It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made
