Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Aug 05, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request for a Statistical Data of Those Who Have Availed the Estate Tax Amnesty.

In reply, after careful consideration we resolved to deny your request for the following reason/s:

1. It has no purpose and/or purpose lacks specifity;
2. There are confidential matters and information on your request restricted by rules under Sec. 270 of the NIRC of 1997, as amended, and is falling also, under the exceptions to the Freedom of Information and are prohibited to be released by the concerned office of the BIR which has custody of the information.
