Good day!

I would like to verify my TIN Number and what RDO it belongs/registered to.

Where can I send my TIN Number and my Personal Information if needed?

Thanks.

Dear Mr. Hollero,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 11, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request
You asked for RDO Verification.

Response to your request
We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as it is part of the frontline service of the BIR, hence your request is denied.
In this regard, to personally verify your TIN, we highly advise you to call our Customer Assistance Division (CAD) at telephone numbers: (02)85383200, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays. Furthermore, you may also try using the BIR Mobile TIN Verifier App by downloading this link: (https://play.google.com/store/apps./details?id=com.bir.birrr6manila&&hl=en&gl=US) or thru the App Store for IOS users.

On the other hand, you may also visit the nearest BIR Revenue District Office (RDO) to personally verify your TIN. Please bring any of your government-issued IDs as proof of your identity.

Please be reminded that TIN is confidential information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012

For your information and guidance.

Respectfully,

Ana Marie Du
FOI Officer

I just copied a similar request that was processed in December, which was accepted. I'm not entirely sure what changed here.

The reason I am looking for another avenue to have this requested is because calling, emailing, and using the app led me to a dead end. This was prior to the recent surge, so is not an excuse for the lack of response and action.
