Hi, I would like to request a copy of my ITR 2316, this is for my employment requirements for me to be hired.

Dear Ms. Fabunan,

I refer to my letter of July 26, 2021, 11:19:11 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR 2316 ITR.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us your employer’s TIN, business name & address and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph.

In case you already have a new employer, kindly clarify if what they are asking from you is the past year as maybe what they were asking from you is for the current year for them to do the year-end adjustment. Your new employer will take into consideration your income from previous employment and your tax liability will be based on your total income for the year.

Furthermore, please be informed that your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your previous employer, If there is any, as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct. 18, 2021, 11:24:26 AM, your request will be closed.
