Dear Mr. Ramit,
I refer to my letter of Feb 21, 2022 02:53:39 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for ITR 2316 2018 ONLY.
In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, we need for you to clarify which of the two are you requesting as we have different policies, manners, and venues for filing these two documents.
If you are asking for ITR, kindly provide us with the following details:
-What ITR form did you file?
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online)
Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.
However, we would also like to suggest that if you know where you filed your ITR, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC
On the other hand, for BIR form 2316, kindly email us your employer's TIN, RDO name & business address, and for CY 20110-2019.
Please be reminded that the details/information we asked for is confidential information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012, thus, you may just email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before May 16, 2022 03:56:50 PM, your request will be closed.
