Dear Ms. Almonte,

I refer to my letter of Feb 28, 2022 08:41:25 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for ITR.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. If you are asking for ITR, kindly provide us with the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information
-What ITR form did you file for CY 2018-2020? 
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR was filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file. Your ITR for 2021and 2022 are yet to be filed on or before April 15 this year and next year, respectively, hence, we cannot provide you copies of the same.

However, we would also like to suggest that if you know where you filed your ITR, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO, bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before May 23, 2022 07:08:47 AM, your request will be closed.
