Good day!

I hope you're having a nice day!

I'm writing to inquire about how to obtain my parents' Certificate of Tax Exception, which was required for my scholarship application. It's something I'll need before my online class begins.

I'm hoping for a quick response.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Sept. 28, 2021, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request
You asked for BIR Certification of Tax Exception.

Response to your request
We were able to determine that your request cannot be counted as a valid FOI request as this is part of the frontline service of the BIR. Please be informed also that our office is constrained by rules under Sec.13.4. b Standard Procedure for FOI Request to wit:” The requesting party shall attach to his or her FOI request the following:
a.	At least two (2) valid government I.D.s containing the photograph and signature of the requesting part)
b.	 If the request is made through a representative, in addition to the above paragraph, the written authorization of the principal and at least two (2) valid government I.D.s containing the photograph and signature of such representative

For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
