Hi, Id like to clarify.
Can you file the estate taxes separately for personal & real estate properties?

My deceased mom had some money left on her bank account and we would like to have it withdrawn before her 1yr death anniv.  To avoid penalties, paperworks and other conflicts. 

However, she had left real estate properties as well and we don't have plans of selling the property as it is used for family businesses / rental property. 


Can we just file and prepare the EJS and estate taxes for the bank accounts ONLY 
Then Decide later if we will  pursue with the  sale of the property (real
