Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that you are no longer required to give a copy of your BIR Form 2316 to your former employer as this document was supposedly originated from them and was issued to you.

Kindly provide your BIR Form 2316 to your new employer for them to have a reference or proof of your previous income (within the taxable year) as well as the taxes withheld that should be included/considered when preparing for a new BIR Form 2316.
