Hi! I badly need my tax record for my new employer and I had to send a request her cause my previous employer wasn’t responsive

Dear Ms. Dorado,

I refer to my letter of Oct 03, 2021 06:27:40 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Form 2316.

Kindly clarify from your new employer if what they are asking from you is your 2316 for the past years as maybe what they were asking from you is for the current year for them to do the year-end adjustment. Your new employer will take into consideration your income from previous employment and your tax liability will be based on your total income for the year. However,  kindly indicate your RDO no. for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO and email at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph as these are sensitive information

Furthermore, please be informed that your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your previous employer, If there is any, as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec 27, 2021 05:32:26 AM, your request will be closed.
