I refer to my letter of Oct 24, 2023 07:44:25 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

In reply, we verify from the BIR System and you are registered as Local Employee. Relatively to this, your request for a copy of your latest BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2022 and 2023 (in case your employment with your employer/company has been terminated before the end of this year) can be obtained through your EMPLOYER as they are obligated to furnish every Employee's a copy as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as your Annual Income Tax Return (ITR) per Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 16, 2024 11:31:27 PM, your request will be closed.
