Hello,

I am not able to find my form 2316 from my previous employer. Is there a way I can request it from your office?

I have tried to email my previous employer but they have not responded yet.

I need this document to take out a mortgage.

I refer to my letter of Apr 25, 2023 07:13:12 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Requesting a copy of my 2316 Form.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Relative to this, kindly provide the following;

1. Name of Employer for Calendar Year 2022;
2. TIN of Employer;
3. Registered Address of your Employer;
4. Your Birthday;
5. Your Address;
6. Your TIN; and
7. Your contact number (mobile no.) in case we need to call you for further information.

Kindly email the requested information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email tracking number #BIR-040445000688, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jul 21, 2023 01:52:57 AM, your request will be closed.

Response to your request:

Based on the reason stated below, we resolve to deny your request as to the following information:   Copy of your ITR for the year 2022.

This Office does not have the information you have requested (ITR) since your employer failed to include your BIR Form 2316 in their submission for the year 2022.
