Dear Mr. Gasing,
I refer to my letter of Oct. 07, 2021, 08:37:55 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for 2316.
Kindly clarify from your new employer if what they are asking from you is the ITR last quarter or your recent 2316 from your previous employer as maybe what they were asking from you is the BIR Form 2316 for the current year for them to do the year-end adjustment. Your new employer will take into consideration your income from previous employment and your tax liability will be based on your total income for the year. In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. If you are asking for ITR, kindly provide us with the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as this contains sensitive information
-What ITR did you file for the last quarter? Was it 1701Q?
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Your TIN (if self-employed)
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online)
If you are asking for 2316, It is advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such document .
Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Dec. 31, 2021, 04:28:21 AM, your request will be closed.
