Dear Ronamarie Baniqued,

I refer to my letter of Jun 19, 2021 09:28:17 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income tax return.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. It would be helpful to know if BIR Form 1700 (Annual Income Tax Return) has been filed during the period because for taxpayers earning purely compensation, substituted filing is an option, provided requisites have met, thus no ITR is necessary but BIR Form 2316 would suffice.  

On the other hand, if you had filed BIR Form 1701, may we know where you filed your ITR and what RDO are you registered with? Also, kindly provide us the Tax Return Receipt Confirmation and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph

Furthermore, please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns which were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system,  we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Sep 15, 2021 04:50:57 AM, your request will be closed.
